When it’s March 18th on calendar and 20 cm of snow under the legs I need something calm and warm. And I found it here :) -10 outside is not matter anymore. I just listening to the good instrumental hip-hop and relaxing.

How far do you think this words one from another?
“progressive rock” and “hip-hop”… Not so fast. They much closer than you can imagine :)
To be honest, I was almost shocked by this track. First time, when I listened it, my my brain didn’t wanted to agree the sounds that comes thru the ears. But I catched the right vibe vary fast and then I started to truly enjoying this music.
I can compare this experience with “surprise candy” – you have no idea which taste you’ll feel, but this is the main pleasure. Anyway, this coctail from progressive rock, electronic and hip-hop definitely don’t leave you indifferent.
Thomas Frye — electronic / hip-hop / jazz / progressive rock music artist from San Diego, US.
It’s saturday and this means that everybody needs some relax, right?
Okay, you’re in the right way…a few more words and you will get it :)
There is not a lot of dynamics, no a lot of instruments…just a few things to keep your mood going. A little bit syncoped beat (as a classics of hip-hop), subby bass (to make sound fat), electric piano (to add chord progression) and sax (or whatever) solo, far away in the mix (to add a little bit of sadness).
This is the recipe of this good intrumental hip-hop track and your good mood.
By the way, you can listen much more on Soundcloud or Bandcamp page (links below).
Have a good weekend :)
Bmbu — hip-hop / instrumental / beats music artist from Philadelphia, US.
As I said always before — I like to listen underground stuff and demo recordings. And this track is fit for that description. It has its own atmosphere and mood. Style borrowed from the “father” of the cloud rap — BONES. But it’s not bad actually :)
A good beginning of the week.
cloud chan — cloud rap / hip-hop / ambient / electronic music artist from Charleston, US.
In this white, winter sunday noon I found something special.
This track takes my attention from start to the end and my imagination showing me strange scenes. Saxophone sounds stream from the headphones thru my ears directly into my brain and touching lazy neurons…letting them create electric impulses to show me something hidden inside of this music.
Hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I like it.
Nicolas de Zorzi — instrumental / dark jazz / downtempo / electronic / hip-hop / trip-hop music artist from Lille, France.
